My new favorite North American World of Tanks player is goldman69.

I’ve run into this asshole twice in the last few days. Both times, in pre-battle chat, he exclaims (in all caps) that he’s running full HE in his Scharzpanzer 58.

And, in both battles, he seems to be firing ineffectively at large targets. Shooting 6 times. Hitting 3, and accomplishing 60 damage.

His win rate isn’t spectacular. It shows 38% win rate on WOTLABS with a WN8 of 34. https://wotlabs.net/na/player/goldman69

He appears to have played over 62k battles of WoT, 55 in the last 24 hours.

He plays 2 tanks: Schwarzpz. 58 and Skota T 40… but almost exclusively the German tank.

This person intentionally tries to lose every battle he can and appears to have been doing this for years.

Paris – Standard battle, top tier. Feels like cheat mode in the T28 HTC.

This was a fun round for me. I just pressed W and kept firing until all the tanks were dead!

This TD is a tough one. I took 8 hits but only one penetration.

Meanwhile, I racked up 3,420 damage with 8 Kills total from 13 penetrating shots.

A reroll account with 81 battles.

Bought the K-2 and sits at the redline doing nothing.

Nice round on Lakeville, bottom tier against the big dogs.

Almost never play this vehicle these days but pulled it out on a whim today. Got matched up with tier 9 tanks on Studzianki – Standard battle and almost immediately lost half my HP playing ‘scout’ due to our scouts being dumb. Go figure?

Came down to my, a Bourrasque, and an asshole in an AE Phase I (he whined about the scouts and redline camped until nearly the end).

Fisherman’s Bay – Standard battle – unfortunately, it was a loss. There’s only so much an average player can do when the team is shit.

This was fun AND a win on Safe Haven (not my favorite map).

This year’s well-deserved reward ‘free’ tank has left the community feeling let down. I don’t know why; these tanks are usually not that great, in my opinion.

I haven’t yet played the new tank, a tier 5 Russian heavy tank based on the KV series: The KV-1A.

It’s got a KV-220-2 turret on tier 6 KV-1S hull but with a 76mm auto-reloader (76 mm ZiS-5A). The gun can fire APCR (120 pen, 110 damage), APCR (premium) (150 pen, 110 damage), and HE (38 pen, 164 damage).

The gun carries 5 rounds with a intra-clip reload of 2.3 seconds.

The tank is slow AF and has poor ground resistances making it feel even slower than the rated top speed of 43 forward/13 reverse.

The tank comes with five 100% crew members...

I made a new friend today, an obvious account reset/reroll player from a clan called PRPLE (Purple Team).

The guy’s name is PurpleThumb. Account created on Monday, October 4, 2021 with 3043 battles to date.

He was running a 70% win rate but it’s already dropped to 69% since I saw him earlier today.

Tonight, the battle starts and the absolute first thing I read in the chat is this Purple guy stat shaming the player driving a Maus. The guy is running about a 46% win rate so Purple feels the need to call him outright at the start and say something like “nice 46% wr Maus” (I’m going to watch the reply to get the quote for a screenshot.

Who actually does this shit?

I mean, who ‘re-rolls’ a new account to show everyone how great a player he is? Just a piece of shit with an OP ...
