I’ve never had much interest in light tanks and would not likely spend money on this one myself but some folks seem to enjoy it.

Today’s over-priced tier 8 premium tank is selling for *only* 6500 gold or $31 to $116 US Dollars.

No thanks.

Today’s gold price is 10,650 and the real dollar amount is $48 for the cheap bundle up to $122 for the full price bundle. I have a 20% off coupon that would get this down to under $98.

I have this tank from last year with the Panther camo. I don’t know if I would dump $100 on this tank but it’s definitely fun to play.

I removed all my old asshole of the day/month posts a while back and did not plan to post them anymore. I felt it was simply drawing attention to the trolls and reflected negatively on the game; however, I changed my mind today.

This afternoon, during only my second match of the day, I met my demise at the had of a skillful skycancer named “The_Real_Jammer”.

I made a bad play, got tracked on a ridge, and several tanks hit me, the final kill shot came from an artillery hit that took about 32HP from my tank.

I signed, picked another tank and moved on with my day.

After my next battle, I noticed a message from another player and I had to go back a in the post battle results to find out which game it was from.

Finishing up with the ‘Least Recommended’ tier 8 tech tree premium tanks. Before listing the detailed responses on the ‘bottom 6’ I’ll review, briefly, the goal of the survey and what was covered in part 1.

In a nutshell, 329 WoT players from the WoT sub Reddit participated in a short survey where they voted on the ‘best’ and ‘worst’ of the tier 8 tech tree premium tanks that you can buy for gold at any time.

There are twenty tanks available for gold at tier 8. Here’s how the overall voting came out:

A topic that comes up frequently on the WoT sub-Reddit is “what tier 8 premium should I buy.” It comes up so often that it can be annoying (3 times in 1 hour) and depending on who answers, the responses vary from post to post. My goal here is to provide some helpful information including the pros and cons of each tank (if applicable) to allow a new tanker to make a more informed purchasing decision. Keep in mind, this information is going to be based on opinions from random players reflect their personal opinions. The onus is on you to review the available YouTube tank reviews before you make a purchase.

This is going to have to be ‘part 1’ as it’s taking a lot longer to work through the submissions and filter the comments. I’ll post an update for the ‘least recommended’ tanks later.

I wiped all my old stories (most of them) and I am relaunching this very unpopular site with new content for 2019.

I’m had a series I was calling “Asshole of the Day” where I awarded an especially salty player with an honorable mention here; but, in the spirit of renewal and forgiveness, I’ve deleted all those posts. I’ve also wiped my in game blacklist.

I may restart the series of I find an especially toxic player in game. I guess only time will tell.

I spend a lot of time on the WoT Reddit sub and frequently tell people that 3-5-7 isn’t a big deal.  I kind of like it… most of the time.

The one thing I do not like is being bottom tier (in the 7 group) in 75-80%  of the games.  This gets old, fast and I can get in a rut where I’m bottom tier over and over again.  Some nights, I feel like I’me getting ‘great’ MM with mid-tier battles and top-tier battles sprinkled in at reasonable intervals (Plus I play tier 9 and 10 liberally) and the grind isn’t that bad. But when you are working on a particular tier 8 medium tank that isn’t fully researched and as a barely trained (100% but without 6th sense or extra perks) and you get 5 bottom tier games in a row, it does feel a little disheartening.

I like to see the end of game score cards for exceptionally good games and yet some sites (hint: Reddit) doesn’t allow for the post of end of game score cards.

This vexes me.  I wanted to create a place where these glorious cards.

In case it isn’t obvious, and it may not be, this site is for World of Tanks players only.

At this time, I’m focusing on the North American players.
