Wesley managed to earn 0 XP in our round (which was a stunning loss, not strictly his fault, I’m sure). How do you get 0 XP? He took 4 shots, scored 2 penetrating hits but still earned nothing?

How some players view the game can be interesting. Take GreatWarrorPoet on the NA server. He’s got over 31k battles in the game since 2014. Here’s a guy who has invested a significant amount of time in the game and he decides to drown himself intentionally after 4 players are killed in the game.

Of course, he doesn’t just leave the game, he has to hang around to bitch about how the game is fixed and everyone else is a shitter.

Yeah, that’s it. Everyone else is a shitter. Coming from the guy with a 45% win rate. I wouldn’t be surprised if most of his losses were the result of drowning.

Wargaming created an unnecessary ‘advent’-calendar in the middle of July. I guess they are keen on recouping the gold they ‘gave away’ during the loot box event last December.

I’ll probably just keep this in one long post instead of daily posts. Whatever. No one reads this shit but I feel like it might be useful next year.

The event is listed to run 13 – 30 July on the NA server.

Tanks appear, at least initially, to be available for both gold and cash.

Tier 8 French autoloading Medium: Lorraine 40 t + 100% crew + garage slot + x5 multiplier mission dohickies.
– Gold Cost – 9,900
– Cash price: $43.53 and $64...

I’m putting together some boring stuff related to the Advent Calendar offerings year to year. Starting with 2016.

I’ve pieced together some information that may be interesting to look at for those that have been playing for a while.

I’ll also post the results of a recent google survey I conducted regarding this past advent calendar and the offerings we had for winter 2020.

I’m also updating a list of premium tanks available for gold. There have been some changes in the tanks available in-game for gold.

Someone asked me to put together some charts showing the black market offerings year to year. I’ll see what information I can dig up for that as well.

It may prove to be interesting, although I’ve never personally participated in the event.

Playing today as “Darkauron_WinnerRvge” (using anonymizer), PeterAn started off tonight’s battle by announcing that he was going to sit on the redline because the last match he played had shitters in it.

At first, I thought maybe he was joking. But no, our top tier heavy, a 55% winrate player, drove to the darkest corner of Mines and sat for most of the battle until he got spotted and then he moved to another hiding spot.

I got killed early on by playing dumb. He got killed last by being an asshole.

I’ll convert the replay and upload it to youtube. This kind of bullshit is what makes this game shitty.

Wargaming released what they’ll have in the loot boxes this year.

Watch the video but for a quick summary, here is what you can expect:

Larges boxes in four collections – meaning you’ll have to fill four books again.

Guaranteed rewards: Gold, 2 decorations (1 level 5, one random), some additional surprises which will be additional gold. premium days, credits, 3D styles, or a premium vehicle.

The last couple years, gold is usually 250 to 750. Premium days 1, 3, 7. Credits: vary a bit, 100,000, 250,000, 500,000.

Dec 02: The American premium tier 8 TD the TS-5

I have the TS-5 and it’s a lovely TD to play. A good reload, great armor and a complete bull in the battle. I don’t like to play back map, redline sniper. Instead, I like to push right up with an in-your-face style.

This doesn’t help my winrate but I sure do enjoy it.

Dec 03: German Medium M48 RPz

This dozer is a snoozer (doesn’t rhyme but good enough). Don’t waste 7000 gold or $32 US (also avail for $99 in a bundle)...

This was from yesterday. A pretty decent battle in the T-78 with 2k damage and 1.7k spotting damage. Took out 4 enemy tanks, spotted 8, and damaged 10.

Not exactly a monster game, but I had a hell of a good time in the process.

I forget about this site now and then but I got an Ace Tanker in my Super Hellcat yesterday and thought, wtf, why not just put the photo up.

It wasn’t much of a battle, but I guess I did alright.

I only did 2200 damage with some 600 spotting…but, somehow, that came out to an Ace.
